It all started when…
Laurie launched Connections Radio Show in 2016 after four years of working on the creative well being shows The Wake Up Call and Health Connections also airing on Saturday mornings on AM950. Laurie's vision has been to bring the power of ideas to life through conversations with thought leaders, activists, artists, business leaders, scientists, community advocates, educators, politicians. and social action visionaries. Laurie partners with co-producers to bring a wide variety of topics and interesting personal stories to life.
With over thirty years of work in nonprofits, Laurie additionally consults in program and income development and does workshops and public speaking. She currently is the Membership Development Director for the Multicultural Foodservice & Hospitality Alliance which is part of the National Restaurant Association. She has a background in Media, Theater, Multiculturalism, Health Advocacy, Executive Coaching and Leadership Development.
She lives in the west metro ruburbia on a hobby farm with her beloved horses, dogs, cats and a flock of chickens! She and her husband enjoy the fruit trees, vegetable gardens and their experimentation with grapevines and raspberry bushes on their Prairie Heart Farm.
